The site was down for about 12 hours today and the hosting company really didn’t seem to care much. I loved my host until they sold to a larger company and service went to shit. I used to be able to call in and practically immediately talk to a human who knew what they were doing. Now, support is primarily chat online and about half the time I know more than their foreign tech does.
“Regarding the timeline, because this is an active incident in our Phoenix Data Center (“Phoenix DC – Elevated Ambient Temperature”), our on-site team is working to restore services and there is no specific estimated resolution time (ETA) available yet. Updates remain available on our status page…”
And that’s the gist of every response I got from the new hosting company throughout the day. Such great service, especially after they’ve been raising the prices and I’m now paying double from when I first subscribed. I guess it is time to start shopping for a new host…
