Well, I certainly screwed up with the cuttings – I left them too long without proper maintenance and many of the roots started to rot. I managed to save about half of them, but some look pretty sickly and diseased so I don’t think they will make it. I should at least get a few successful propagations for my experiment to see if they will fruit faster.
And my 4-day streak is coming to an end – I’m putting on pants. Puttering around the property and working online doesn’t necessitate wearing much, but I need to run to town today and I don’t think the townfolk care to see me walking around in my skivvies. That said, I know nudity is generally accepted in the area as there is a nudist camp not far, and I know some neighbors go natural when they are home (they warned me to call before dropping by if I “don’t want an eyeful”). Frankly, once I have my trees lining the road, I’ll probably do the same.
Anyhow, pants are going on and I am going out. Gotta get the town stuff done…
