I’m pretty tired today, though I got a full night’s sleep and even took a nap yesterday evening. I didn’t have a lot of physical exertion yesterday, but perhaps the excitement over my new watch kept me at a high mental energy level, ultimately exhausting me. Some of my health issues have been acting up, so that could definitely be a contributing factor, but I wouldn’t have thought it would be to this extent. In addition to securing my limited Snoopy watch, Iron Maiden also released their Infinite Dreams book yesterday and I should be receiving my copy Saturday, so I was riding pretty high most of the day.
We did wake up multiple times through out the night – there are still stinkbugs we haven’t been able to eradicate inside our house and they seem to enjoy harassing us when we are trying to sleep. That is likely another contributing factor, though I was back to sleep relatively quickly.
I do still have more repotting and plant stuff to deal with, as well as getting some of the cuttings out of the water and into soil, but I’m running out of space indoors. My wife and I were discussing building some shelves that would sit in the windows (as well as an enclosure for the cat box) so we can get rid of some of the tables and stands being used for plants, though that’s going to take a bit of design and work. I really just need to get my greenhouse built, but the quotes I received were all in the $30k range, and I will still need to reroute the main power line (quoted at ~$12K).
With all the end of season chores, I’ve also been slacking on my bass practice and haven’t played in about two weeks. I think I’ll try to wrap things up a bit early today and squeeze some bass play time in this evening.
