Another cold snap hit overnight, and we are sitting in the 30’s today. I’ve already started a fire in the wood stove, but it is going to be chilly – guess it’s time to pull out my winter jammies.
I ordered a bird feeder hanger/stand a few days ago and it is due to arrive today. We, as well as the cats, enjoy watching the birds from the window, and I already picked up a crow feeder but had nowhere to hang it – this will solve that problem as well as provide additional hooks for other types of bird feed. The way I see it, if my wife won’t allow me to let raccoons in for my trash panda army, I’ll befriend a murder – maybe I can teach them to harass unwanted visitors. I still really wish we had squirrels, but I think they are too exposed to raptors on top of our ridge to survive up here..
I think Amazon just arrived, so I have a quick project to address, and I also need to check on the fire. I also need to finish repotting some of the indoor plants that I started yesterday.
