The fence is up, and 2/3 of the raised beds are planted. I need to finish the last bed today, and get the buckets and bags ready for everything else. Something happened with the new spigot yesterday, and its now bent. Pretty irritating since it was just installed last week but it still seems to function and doesn’t leak so I’ll just deal with it. Today, I also need to finish the office and get the table out of there so I can set up the potted plants that will live outside in the garden area.
I only have a few days left until my wife leaves for her week trip, and then the day I pick her up is also the day my grandson arrives, so we are trying to get everything ready before she leaves. We’d like to have everything ready so I don’t need to try to scramble and do things like that when she’s away – I tend to not remember my new-ish limitations when focused on a project, which has led to minor injuries.
So that’s the plan for the rest of the day – finish my office, finish the raised beds, and cleaning up the space for the grandchild. Better get to it…
