Well I think we found our new contractor. Seems like a good guy, his rates are decent, and most importantly, he understood and chuckled at my “Heemeyer/Weaver 2024” t-shirt. We spent several hours showing him the property and going over all the projects we want to do – some he’d work on, other’s not, but he would need to know about our future plans so that he could plan and advise around them too.
Oh, and I may have crossed paths with his wife at a previous job.
I’ve been doing well with reducing my social media screen time, but that also tends to keep me out of the loop on whatever current events are happening. That can be both good and bad – I like to be informed, but then I’m also not needing to filter everything to find the kernel of truth in all the clickbait.
Anyhow, not alot to say today – so I’ll leave you with this: Question everything, go outside and touch grass, and taxation is theft.
