Got the hydroponic strawberry planter setup and working yesterday. It took a bit longer than I thought it would – I ran into a challenge I wasn’t expecting and ultimately will be changing the design a bit – but it’s working. I still need to install the lock on the closet door, set up the TV, and prepare the bedding, but things are almost ready.
We’re in the last phase of preparations, and I have to admit, I’m a bit… nervous? No, that isn’t the right word – it is probably closer to anxious, though not with any negative feelings, but more of a concern that everything will ready and that the boy will have an enjoyable time during his stay. It is certainly going to be a big change for us, but I’m still looking forward to the time we’ll have together.
I’m not sure if I’ll have time to write at all on Monday – actually I’m already pretty certain I won’t since I have to be in the city early – but I’m hoping our daily schedule and routine will quickly stabilize and I’ll be able to resume by Tuesday or Wednesday. Time is running out and I need to get moving so…
