Up early again and no landscapers today – they guy has been having some health issues and had to go into the clinic yesterday so we are circling back on the project next week.
I also found out last night that a friend from Idaho (and one of the handful of Libertarians I actually like) has been going through some major life issues (stroke, heart attack, house fire, etc) lately and is still working through the recovery process. I still have a first edition dustjacket for Atlas Shrugged I tracked down that I need to get to him to clothe his naked copy (I guess I also need to see that the house fire didn’t destroy his book collection).
I didn’t have much in mind to write about today – I expected to be outside with the landscapers without much time to write. I am also really tired and want a nap, but I don’t want to throw yet another wrench into my already difficult sleep schedule. Lucretia has the habit of waking us to ask for her kitten food early in the mornings, which usually isn’t too much of an issue except on days where we are already getting limited sleep because of late nights and early appointments. And with the daylight-savings time change happening this weekend, the sleep issue will just be compounded if I give in to the desire to take naps.
Anyhow, I’m going outside anyway…
