It is windy today – about 26 mph. While that is classified only as a “strong breeze” on the Beaufort scale, I can see large trees on the property rocking in the “breeze.” The wind has been so strong lately, that it tore a door off our shed – granted, the doors weren’t hung properly and didn’t stay closed without a brick propped against them, but at least there was a door. That reminds me that I need to look into wind power generators to work with the solar power system we intend to install.
I found out about more local Libertarian nonsense – the bylaw committee, that failed to get it’s shit together and do its job for the special convention in November (which was cancelled), never met and did nothing leading up to the rescheduled special convention to be held later this month. Hopefully this means the special convention will be cancelled again, as I may have some travel coming up that could overlap with the existing date. Guess we’ll know in a couple days, as that’s all that’s left before the notice period closes and the party would be in breach of bylaws if they proceeded.
Ugh, just thinking about the LP gave me an upset stomach. It’s been nice that the meetings have been cancelled because of the holidays, and I haven’t really had to think about any of them.
Anyhow, I need to go collect things the wind blew into the treeline, so…
