I built it up, now I take it apart…

Yesterday was mostly monitoring and moving the new sprinkler system I just got. That tripod sprinkler works great – at least now that I have the head wrenched on tight. It’s easy for me to move around and I don’t have to hunch and bend in the field without nearby supports to grab should I fall. It also has a pretty good range and with the pressure booster pump, I can just walk it down the middle of the field and cover almost everything – aside from a couple spots with trees that block the spray.

And holy shit, our bathroom might finally be finished today! The contractor that started the tub replacement over Memorial Day weekend – in 2024 – finally got back to us and is currently upstairs working on the swap-out right now. Of course he was an hour late past the scheduled arrival time, but at least this project will finally (allegedly) be completed today. It will be nice to have our bathroom no longer looking like a construction zone and have my office put back together (he needs to access the pluming through the drop ceiling).

It will be nice to have my office back – I hadn’t put everything back together because I kept being told that he’d be back to complete the project “any day now” so I left it they way he did when he last worked on the project. It’s now been over a year since I had my office configured the way I wanted and my drum kit set up.

Anyhow, I need to keep an eye on things go make sure the job is actually completed to spec and he just asked to access my office…
