Twirling ’round with this familiar parable…

Not a lot to say today – the weather has been kinda shitty the past couple days and it’s nice and sunny today so I have things to take care of outside – as well as some projects to work on with the angle grinder I picked up in town yesterday.

I was thinking about that call I had last weekend and their “spiritual awakening.” While it isn’t my story to tell, it did touch on past-lives and things like that. I don’t recall if I previously shared my thoughts on the matter but even if I did, I haven’t ported that content over yet.

My belief leans towards this: As the great Bill Hicks once explained, “all matter is energy condensed to a slow vibration,” and we are part of that. When we are born, higher vibration energy drawn from the universe forms our consciousness that is contained within the matter formed by the rest of the energy. When we die, our consciousness energy is released quickly back to the universe while the corporeal gradually slows and is released (through decomposition) back that way. Throughout life, experiences and knowledge help make our consciousness energy more cohesive and it sort of “sticks together,” so when there is new life and a need for that energy, there are some pieces that stay together and form the past-life memories – sort of like a cosmic stew.

Imagine if you will, a giant cosmic ladle scooping out energy from a giant cosmic crock pot, and when that life expires, that energy is poured back into the giant cosmic crock pot. Some sticks together and forms lumpy bits in the cosmic stew, and as the process repeats itself over and over and over throughout the eternity of the universe, more lumpy bits form and stick together. When the giant cosmic ladle scoops from the giant cosmic crock pot, it’s bound to distribute some of those lumpy bits to the new consciousness.

What causes the cohesion? I don’t know, but it would likely be something along those lines of what is taught by the so-called “gurus” and “magicians” – a stronger will and types of experiences.

Anyhow, just a thought on the matter – I’m going outside.

You should too.

Snoopy is getting his own Tamagotchi – “Japanese toy manufacturer Bandai is marking the 75th anniversary of Charles M. Schulz’s ‘Peanuts’ comic strip with the release of an all-new Tamagotchi Nano featuring Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang.” I think I’m gonna have to get one of these…

Homeowner told to demolish house supposed to be ‘stallion semen collection business’ – Don’t let the government know you aren’t actually collecting horse jizz if you originally tell them you’re gonna be collecting horse jizz.

‘Napalm Girl’ may be work of different photographer, World Press Photo says – “The in-house analysis, conducted between January and May 2025, concluded ‘based on analysis of location, distance, and the camera used on that day’ that ‘photographers Nguyễn Thành Nghệ or Huỳnh Công Phúc may have been better positioned to take the photograph than Nick Út.'”

Iceland approved the 4-day workweek in 2019: nearly 6 years later, all the predictions made have come true – “Iceland’s experience shows that the four-day week is not only viable, but can also bring significant benefits for both workers and society as a whole.”
