93 – first off, it is day one for those who celebrate.
Anyhow, I didn’t get everything done yesterday that I had hoped. I did get the beard oil mixed though it took longer because I had been napkin mathing and guesstimating and when I sat down and calculated the proportions, I realized I was a bit short on some of the fragrance oils. Fortunately, I did have enough to mix my nighttime blend (as that was the one I was completely out of) but my day blend is a bit weak on the fragrance until my next order comes in. It also took longer than expected because I did not properly measure containers and such for the mixing process and the “big bowl” I had planned on using holds one gallon on the nose, with no additional room whatsoever. I ended up using a gallon jug that had distilled water in it, and that worked fairly well, but I will need to figure out a long term solution if this is going to be an ongoing project.
That means today is plant day. By the time I finished with the oils, I didn’t want to start on the seeds because I was pretty sure I’d end up needing to stop in the middle and have to go through teardown and cleanup twice, so I decided to just do it all today. So that’s what I’ll be doing today, getting everything in soil and started. Which I need to get started on before it gets to be too late to complete in one day…
