Not a lot today, yesterday was mostly playing catch up with a quick run to town for garlic and dinner. There are cucumbers ready for harvest so another batch of tsukemono pickles is on the schedule. I’m kicking myself for not getting peeled garlic when we were in the city – I guess I’m peeling garlic today.
I’m definitely making a huge batch of the pickling sauce early in the season next year. It’s a quick process to make them with the sauce pre-made, so I can just harvest, prep, and pickle. These are so good, I may end up buying cucumbers to keep them available through the winter.
Yes, I’ll get the recipe plugin working too.
I haven’t had the opportunity to play bass since returning from the trip, so I need to prioritize that. That is something I need to keep a priority and not let slip because I have other things to do. Besides, if I stray too long, my finger callouses will go away and I’ll need to build them back up all over again.
Anyhow, it is also trash gathering day here, and that garlic isn’t going to peel itself, so…
