Not to be political two days in a row, but RIP Pam Bondi – she is due to testify before Congress in a couple weeks, and knows way too much. It has also been alleged that now that she’s no longer the Attorney General, other countries that are actually actively investigating Epstein ties to their leaders are all scrambling to subpoena her to testify in their own trials. It is rumored that Tulsi is on the chopping block too… how long before she is called to testify about the whistleblower complaint about someone in Trump’s close circle being compromised that she buried?
Well that’s enough politics for the day.
I didn’t actually have a chance to paint the other day – I went outside and ended up picking stones from the field to clear the way for tilling, and built a small flagstone barrier around our septic access. I’ll probably spray some vinegar in there to keep the grasses out and keep access clear, but may just weed-whack it low My back isn’t pleased, but the job is done, save for a couple specific pieces that had entire ant ecosystems beneath them that I just didn’t want to deal with at the time.
It is currently snowing, but nothing is sticking. The forecast says it will warm over the weekend, so hopefully I’ll be able to get some outside time when finished or breaking from our planned spring cleaning. Yep, it is that time of year and we need to declutter a bit. This weekend is also when I need to get all the seeds started so I’ll be working on that as well. We had really hoped to have the window shelving done before starting seeds, but the carpenters around here (the quality ones anyway) are all busy and there is a couple month backlog, so it looks like my wife has one more season of dealing with plants taking over the space spanning at least a third of our first floor.
Anyhow, I think I’m gonna get a head start on the spring cleaning so I can hopefully have some extra time free when it’s warm out…
