I don’t really have anything to say today – it is warm out (around 70°) but overcast, so seems like a perfect day to ease into outside time and get some filtered sun. Getting more sun, the grass is turning from brown to green, and we are also seeing more wildlife. The deer have been coming through more frequently, and the bugs are certainly waking up. The wasps are as well, so it is definitely time for me to put together one of those bait traps to address them – though I need to figure out a better way to hang them so they don’t blow around and spill in the wind.
The cats all have spring fever, and even Pearl has been caught pacing by the door wanting to lay on the deck. When we do the deck expansion, we also plan to enclose it so they will be able to go outside and lounge on the deck with us, but that will likely be at least a month or so off.
Anyhow, the fresh air is calling to me…
