I don’t have much to say today – I haven’t slept really well lately and I feel exhausted. I need a few days with absolutely nothing going on so I can just try to sleep and reset everything.
I haven’t even really practiced or played bass much recently either – the weight of the instruments compresses my spine just enough to cause a noticeable increase in the pain signals sent down my leg. I did do a bit of practice while seated, but I typically keep my bass slung low so it is completely different playing while seated, and I feel all bunched up.
I hope my body’s revolt wraps up soon – I’ve got a lot to do to prep for the spring soon.
