I think I’m gonna do drugs today – nothing illicit, but I figure that if I’m going to be stuck laying down because of the pain, I can just take my prescribed pills and try to rest rather than just sit there suffering. One of the main reasons I dislike taking opiates is because they get me high and I can’t really function doing anything else, so if I’m already not going to be doing anything else, why not do nothing while pain-free?
Hell, I might even squeeze a nap in – the pain levels are both mentally and physically exhausting.
