Yesterday was a very uncomfortable but chill day, and today looks like it will be about the same. I’ve already got a pot of curry simmering on the stove for dinner, so after a couple hours, we won’t need to wonder about what to eat for at least a few days.
I’m trying a bit of an experiment with it today – along with the chicken I usually use, I added a few meatballs to see how they turn out, and if they taste good, I’ll try my hand at making these curry pastries I had when visiting Sacramento. The shape reminded me of a tiny pizza but the dough, while similar, was a bit lighter and fluffier. It was just that dough with a scoop of curry with a single meatball, and tasted absolutely delicious.
That said, I have so many “experiments” and “projects” to work on these days that my body doesn’t seem to want to cooperate with me on. I wish I could find a way to remove or reduce the pain without altering my state of consciousness…
