Green and grey washes in a wispy white veil…

Need to run to town shortly to take the kitten to the vet for her next series of shots. While the other cats, Pearl and Roscoe, seem to have accepted her presence, I think she’s starting to wear them out. Roscoe has taken to hiding out when he can to take his naps, his favorite seems to be the cat carrier that he and Maynard used to cuddle in. My wife had pulled it out the other day to let Lucretia see and smell it before her upcoming vet trip today, and Roscoe promptly moved into it. Hopefully she’ll be more used to it and be a bit calmer on this drive to town.

I did manage to get my haircut rescheduled, but unfortunately it has to be Monday, the day before our trip. We had hoped for a chill day that day to just relax before travel stress and to address any last minute things we’d need to before leaving, but it seems that we’ll be making a ninja run to the city for the haircut and to hopefully get an eye exam and contacts.

Which reminds me, I need to see if I have any contacts of my own left.

I haven’t been wearing contacts here because it’s too dry, at least in the winter. I realized I tried wearing them when we first moved, which was at the end of November, but didn’t try them again in the spring. I went through multiple bottles of eye drops before I finally gave up and just wore glasses. Really, I just need to bite the bullet and get the laser surgery done.

Anyhow, this kitten isn’t gonna drive herself to town, so I need to get moving…
