Yesterday was nice. It felt good having a down day that I could just catch up on rest. That said, I rested so much that I had a bit of difficulty getting to sleep, though I did manage to get to bed earlier than usual.

I did finish clearing the last raised bed earlier today, and my body is already paying for it. The last one was for tomatoes and I let them go fairly wild. They also have a deeper root structure and grew so well they had nearly 2″ trunks. It took as long, if not longer, to clear that one bed than it did the other two, but it is done. All I need to do now to be completely done is clear the six grow bags, but I need to find something to revitalize the soil in. I really need to get those barrels – one for my upcoming water feature, and one to mix and revitalize soil.

I still have a bunch I want to get done before my wife gets back, but I’m going to have to rest my back a bit more after today. Fortunately, everything else I want to get done is inside (except for making a run to the dump to drop the trash tomorrow) and less physically strenuous.

Anyhow, the dishwasher isn’t going to unload itself…
