Living on the top of a ridge, while beautiful with amazing scenery, does have some drawbacks – mainly the wind. It is windy<\/em> today. It started yesterday in the late afternoon, and I had to rush to bring plants in to the newly enclosed portion of the deck. Thankfully I did manage to get my score from the city transplanted and potted up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a reason I definitely want to get a wind power generator set up. I can get a solar power system, but that doesn’t generate anything at night or when it is overcast – the wind tends to pick up at night around here, so it would be great to include this in our overall plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also confirmed yesterday that they found a marrow donor for my daughter and my grandson will be staying with me from June through August while she has to isolate herself during recovery. We have less than 4 weeks now until his arrival, so I’ll need to prioritize some of the things that need to be done before he gets here. I will also need to re-train myself to NOT<\/em> walk around undressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyhow, my office isn’t going to clean itself, so…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
