I had a topic I intended to write about, but forgot what it was. That happens to me all the time, and I’ve been trying to quickly take notes when I have an idea, but that doesn’t always work when I’m driving or in the shower. Eh, not like it would have topped me pissing holy water anyway…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Had a fairly relaxed weekend, though we did run to the city yesterday with the intent of taking my wife to the “Adult Skate” night at the local rink, but I’m an idiot and had planned to run errands while she skated and didn’t realize she wanted me there to observe. After a brief hiccup, we decided that we’d just wrap up the shopping stops and circle back next month. We did get a bunch of the necessary shopping done and ended up also buying a new cookware set at Costco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I also ordered more supplies for another beard oil batch, but this time I’m doing it on a bit of a larger scale – I’ll be doing a gallon at a time, instead of just a few ounce bottles. I also have a change to the blend, so once this is complete, I’ll probably be ready to send out the test bottles to people for feedback. I’m hoping to keep the cost down so if\/when I start selling the blend, it can be kept relatively inexpensive for the consumer. I was thinking about how I’d go about that, and most likely I’d keep things a small operation and do monthly batches of production and shipping out. I wouldn’t want this to turn into something that required trips to town every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Today, I already have the landscapers here hauling and dumping literal tons of compost in our field. They are under a bit of a time crunch as it is due to start raining within about an hour, but the plan is they will return on Wednesday to finish up and I’ll be doing the cookout for them then. It;s starting to cool a bit and get overcast so I think that will be starting up soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyhow, I need to check on them before it starts raining…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
