I didn’t have a chance to read more yesterday – I ended up having to retake measurements and redo a sketch of the plant shelf we want built and then I got a call from the tub\/alcove manufacturer. They needed a few more photos of the alcove installation and some of the newly developing crack in the tub. By the time I finished the design work, calls, and sent the email off to the new contractor, I didn’t have reading time before other commitments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The manufacturer called me back this morning and indicated that the alcove was most certainly installed incorrectly, and while improper installation could<\/em> have caused the cracking in the tub itself, they couldn’t say for certain unless the tub was removed and examined – so it was just easier to just give us a new tub. And because of all the trouble we have been dealing with, they are going to give us a new alcove as well, so that when things are installed by someone who knows what they are doing, it will be all be brand new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I did have a chance to play bass last night, and just jammed along with different tunes rather than focusing on perfecting one. I played along with songs I had never played before, just to feel it. I was still in the groove when my wife popped her head in the studio and told me she was headed to bed.
