It has already been a hectic day. We finished the last of our neighbor treat exchange and I’ve been prepping for tomorrow’s cooking. Going more low-key this year as we are both still decompressing from the long trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Roscoe got out for a bit yesterday. He didn’t try to escape, but just went to the end of the porch and started crying – the same cry he’d use at night when he wanted Maynard to come play with him. I know he misses his brother\/boyfriend and we were certain that he and Maynard were going to grow old together. I sorta wonder if Roscoe thinks Maynard is lost outside or something, or maybe he’s just calling out to ghost-Maynard to let him know he misses him. We miss him too, buddy…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
