Since I had been doing well with avoiding social media, I only heard from a friend who called randomly just to catch up: “Oh, did’ya hear Ozzy Osbourne just died?” And thus began my attempt to frantically look up information while on the phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I had gotten to (very briefly) meet Ozzy when I did the “Roadie for a Day” at Ozzfest back in 2001<\/a> and broke the cardinal rule of the crew interacting with the talent. And that’s when Omar scolded me and told me to never engage the talent unless they engage me first.
