Another busy day ahead – gotta make a run to the city, and tonight will be setting up a new phone that should be arriving today. Usually a new phone setup is pretty quick and easy, but I’m going to have to install a different, de-googled and more secure OS – GrapheneOS<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using GrapheneOS isn’t a choice for nefarious purposes, I just don’t want Google to be the intermediary for all my data, and I like my privacy. I recommend it for anyone who uses an Android device, but it does take a bit of getting used to since the Google services are stripped out by default. I also pay for the Proton suite of apps<\/a> – remember if the service is free, then you are the commodity (or really, your data).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyhow, gotta get moving – the citiots await.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
